Hello and welcome to our blog.
We will be blogging about some of the key stages of our PYP x project.
After a few sessions of researching and collecting information about alternative energy sources which is our topic. We decided to focus on Solar Power and Wind power. We spent at least a week clarifying our understanding on our topics and then we started thinking about ways of showing the information we found. We had a great idea! We thought that we would build a model of the schoool with solar panels and work out how solar panels could be used to run our school on.
After talking to Mr. Nord and learning that the school had already had a quote for solar panels we got excited!
We are currently at the stage of building one of our 4 buildings and finding a way to measure how mush power our school uses.
We will update more in the future.
